Welcome to WAVjunkie! This guide will help you get started with discovering, purchasing, and downloading high-quality music from independent artists.

Creating your account

Step 1: Sign up

  1. Click the User Icon in the navigation bar
  2. Enter your display name
  3. Enter your email address and create a secure password
  4. You’re ready to start exploring!
When you first sign up, you’ll be asked to select your role:
  • Listener — Browse, purchase, and download music
  • Artist — Upload and sell your own music (can also purchase as a listener)
As a listener, you’ll have access to the full marketplace without upload capabilities.

Browsing music

Discover page

The Discover page is your gateway to finding new music:
  • Featured releases — Handpicked selections from our catalog
  • New releases — The latest uploads from artists
  • Genre filters — Browse by your favorite genres
Use the Search function to find specific track titles, artist names, genres, or moods.

Artist profiles

Click on any artist name to visit their profile and see their full catalog of releases, biography and social links, and a follow button to stay updated on new releases.

Purchasing music

Adding to cart

  1. Find a release you want to purchase
  2. Click Add to Cart on the release card or detail page
  3. Continue browsing or proceed to checkout

Checkout process

  1. Click the Cart icon in the navigation
  2. Review your selected releases
  3. Click Checkout to proceed to payment
  4. Complete payment via Stripe (credit/debit card)
  5. You’ll receive an email confirmation

What you’re buying

When you purchase a release on WAVjunkie, you receive:
  • High-quality WAV files (16-bit or 24-bit audio)
  • Permanent access to re-download your purchases
  • Master Use License for personal use
All sales are final due to the digital nature of downloads.

Downloading your music

Accessing your downloads

  1. Click your profile icon in the navigation
  2. Scroll to Downloads at the bottom of your dashboard
  3. You’ll see all your purchased releases

How to download

  1. Find the release in your Downloads section
  2. Click the Download button next to any track
  3. The WAV file will download directly to your device

Re-downloading

You can re-download your purchased tracks at any time. There’s no limit to how many times you can download your purchases.

Managing your library

Favorites

Save releases you’re interested in for later:
  1. Click the Heart icon on any release
  2. Access your favorites from Favorites in your dashboard
  3. Easily purchase or listen to saved releases

Following artists

  1. Visit an artist’s profile page
  2. Click the Follow button
  3. See their new releases in your feed

Account settings

Profile settings

Access your profile settings to update your display name, change your avatar, and manage email preferences.

Security

  • Change password — Update your password at any time
  • Delete account — Permanently remove your account and data

Can I preview tracks before purchasing?

Yes! Click the Play button on any release to preview the track.

What audio format are downloads?

All downloads are in WAV format — the highest quality uncompressed audio.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final due to the digital nature of downloads. Please preview tracks before purchasing.
